Job Description :
Design, create, and implement database systems based on the end user's requirements
Improve application's performances
Prepare documentations for database applications
Memory management for database systems.
Develop database schemas, tables and dictionaries
Fix any issues related to database performance and provide corrective measures
Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures and triggers to support application development.
Take regular database backup
Test databases and perform bug fixes
Provide authentication and authorizations for Database
Develop best practices for database design and development activities
Designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability and performance
Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders
Maintain and enhance the existing data warehouse, exports, and reports.
Develop vendor and client exports that meet provided specifications
Perform quality checks on reports and exports to ensure exceptional quality
Monitor job and transfer queues to ensure they are functioning as expected
Provide business users the data required for metrics and analysis
Develop new SSIS packages and SSRS reports to meet business needs
Help migrate existing SQL queries to reports.
Create and maintain documentation for all projects
Skills required :
Experience with some of the modern relational databases
Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements
Capable of configuring popular database engines and orchestrating clusters as necessary
Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications
Capable of troubleshooting common database issues
Familiar with Product that can aid with profiling server resource usage and optimizing it
Proficient understanding of code versioning Product such as {{Git / Mercurial / SVN}}
Must possess knowledge of various EDI formats is required.
Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Access and Excel. Experience with Tableau or other BI Product is a plus.
Ability to effectively communicate between development and system users and understand the scope of business needs with proficiency in reading, analyzing and interpreting reports, documents, data and technical procedures.
Must possess good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in order to create reports, business correspondence and procedure instructions.
Organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and troubleshooting incoming client requests as well as assisting in resolving application and data issues.
Prior .NET development experience would be helpful.
